When the dry-type transformer is in operation, it is necessary to monitor the operating temperature. The operating temperature of the dry-type transformer has a certain range limit. When the operating temperature fails, the operation of the dry-type transformer will be affected.
Reasons for an abnormal temperature rise of dry-type transformers:
1. Short circuit between layers or turns of dry-type transformer windings, loose internal contacts, increased contact resistance, a short circuit on secondary lines, etc.;
2. The iron core of the dry-type transformer is partially short-circuited, and the insulation of the core screw for clamping the iron core is damaged;
3. Long-term overload operation of dry-type transformers;
4. Deterioration of heat dissipation conditions of dry-type transformers, etc.
How to deal with an abnormally high temperature of dry-type transformers:
1. Check whether the temperature controller of the dry-type transformer is faulty;
2. Check whether the dry-type transformer cooling fan and indoor ventilation are normal;
3. Check the load condition of the dry-type transformer and the insertion condition of the thermostat probe.
Exclude the dry-type thermostat and dry-type transformer cooling fan device failure. Under normal load conditions, the temperature of the dry-type transformer continues to rise. It should be confirmed that the dry-type transformer is internally faulty and should be stopped for maintenance.
